Baked Potato Soup

4 1/2 baking potatos
1/3 cup butter
1/3 flour
3 cups milk
5 oz. shredded chedder cheese
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/4 cup bacon bits (real, not bacos! i usually cook my own bacon and cut it up, it takes about 4 strips)
2 green onions
8 oz. sour cream
1. cook potatos, cool, and peel
2. melt butter and stir in flour. cook about 1 min. while stirring.
3. Whisk in milk a little bit at a time, so it thickens.
4. Stir in potatos, salt and pepper. Then add *most* of the bacon, onion, and cheese.
5. Stir sour cream and heat through.
Garnish servings with remaining bacon, onion, and cheese.
