Bourbon Cheeseburgers

1 lb ground beef (or turkey, or whatever meat you make your burgers from)

1/4 cup minced red onion

1/4 cup minced green or red bell pepper

1 minced garlic clove

2-3 tbsp knob creek (or whatever bourbon you may have on hand)

salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and basil to taste

Mix all the ingredients together and form into patties. Grill to the desired temperature and melt a slice of your favorite cheese on top (I recommend pepperjack). Serve on a bun with your favorite burger toppings.
