Melanie's Slow Cooked Beef

1 3lb beef pot roast
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1/2 cup red wine
1 tablespoon instant beef bouillon granules
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon pepper
16 large mushrooms
Put in crock pot and cook 7-8 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high. Add mushrooms during last 1/2 hour.
